Conway + Bliss do Pitti Filati

As Debbie was in India doing Knit for Peace, Nell and I had to take on Pitti Filati by ourselves.

Without our boss we were worried about making it to airport in time given the early start. However we made it onto our flight without any hitches.

We had planned to take pictures of every meal as one of our favourite aspects of our trips to Florence is the delicious food! But our hunger and excitement caused us to forget our plan.

We made excellent use of our new selfie stick outside the Duomo.

The next morning we made our way to Pitti Filati. The installation piece outside the show was large rotating cylinders showing urban and rural landscapes.

One of our favourite parts of the show is always the Millefili stand which always has fun freebies!

Glittery temporary tattoos!

We used our new selfie stick to take snaps with some of our favourite yarn manufacturers. Here is us with Alberto from Filatura Pettinata who produce many of Debbie’s yarns including the Cashmerino and Rialto ranges.

We loved the geometric brights that were on show in the trends section.

We were tired out by the end of it but it was all worth it. What a wonderful show!
